The four industrial parks, encompassing over 210 acres of land, include utilities, sewer, and water on the site. These parks are owned by the City of Hornell Industrial Development Agency. A variety of incentives and financing are available.  Hornell has an exceptional supply of material resources. The water table and quality is superior.  The reliability of supply of the utilities is near perfect. National Fuel Gas Company provides natural gas for the area and New York State Electric & Gas Corporation provides electricity. The City of Hornell has recently upgraded its excellent water system and waste treatment systems.

Hornell has a zoning code to protect the industries and eager new employers.  The City of Hornell Industrial Development Agency is available to assist new employers to offer a variety of plant financing methods and tax incentives. In addition, there is a good living, fresh air, lakes, forests, parks, excellent educational facilities for the young and old, music, arts, and an abundance of summer and winter sports. 

The City of Hornell is located in the pleasant rolling hills of New York State's Southern Tier. It is known as the "Maple City." Situated at the intersection of Route 36 and 21 and Exit 34S off the Southern Tier Expressway, (Route 17, Future I-86), Hornell is 60 miles south of Rochester and 93 miles southeast of Buffalo in the Western section of Steuben County.
